A Gardena-völgyben járva a naplementét itt vártam meg. Fenséges pillanat volt. Ott már felmerült bennem, hogy fekete-fehérben megjelenítve mennyivel hangsúlyosabbak lennének a hegyek. A feldolgozás során ez igazolódott.
