Januárban egy egésznapos, de eredménytelen mátraaljai fotótúra végen fáradtan és átfázva kullogtam vissza a kocsimhoz, amikor megláttam a legelésző őzeket a szemközti búzatáblán. A kép tetszett, de nem volt jó a kompozíció. Közelebb mentem, és vártam, hátha lesz jobb beállásuk is az addig összevissza legelésző őzeknek. Azok egyszer csak sorba álltak, és legelészve elindultak egymás után az egyik domb gerincén…

At the end of a full uneventful day photo touring in Mátraalja in January, I was dragging myself back to my car, tired and chilled to the bone, when I spotted the deer grazing in the wheat field opposite. I liked the image but the composition was not pleasing. I approached closer and waited, perhaps there would be a better positioning of the deer ambling about in all directions. All of a sudden they lined up in a row and continuing to graze followed one another on the crest of a hill.
