Az elmúlt évben több éjszakát töltöttem hullócsillagok fényképezésével. December 13-án a budaörsi Kő-hegyen a Geminida-meteorrajt szerettem volna fényképezni, az éjszakai városképpel. Az első sikeres expozíció után új nézőpontot kerestem. Hátat fordítottam a városnak, s arra lettem figyelmes, hogy valami kezd kirajzolódni az égbolton. Felélénkült a légmozgás, és pár alacsonyan érkező felhő beúszott a budai hegyek fölé – ekkor tárult a szemem elé a képen látható jelenség. A megvilágításnak köszönhetően a Kő-hegy csúcsán található kereszt és a tőle nagyjából száz méterre lévő Szeplőtelen Fogantatás kápolna sziluettje hatalmas méretekben jelent meg az égen, egymásra vetülve. A jelenség alig pár percig tartott, először a templomtorony, majd a kereszt is elhalványult.

I spent many nights this past year photographing shooting stars. On December 13 on Kő-hegy [Stone hill] in Budaörs I wanted to photograph the Geminida meteor shower with the nighttime urban landscape. After the first successful exposure I looked for a new vantage point. I turned my back on the city and became aware of something beginning to take shape in the sky. The air current picked up and a few low clouds crept in above the Buda hills. This is when the image seen in the picture appeared before my eyes. Because of the light the cross found on Kő-hegy and the silhouette of the chapel of the Immaculate Conception, about one hundred meters away, appeared magnified projected on to each other in the sky. The phenomenon lasted merely a few minutes, first the church steeple then the cross faded.
