A kép a Dunavölgyi-főcsatorna mellett készült. Az egyik híd alatt több pár füsti fecske (Hirundo rustica) fészkelt. A nap végén volt egy olyan 15 perces időszak, amikor úgy sütött be a nap a híd alá, hogy a hídpillér egyik része árnyékban volt, a másik része teljes megvilágításban, a kettő között pedig hullámzó víz fényjátéka látszott. Ebbe a kompozícióba kellett hogy a megfelelő helyre berepüljön a fecske, a megfelelő élességi síkba. Néhány délutánt eltöltöttem ott, mire sikerült.

I took this picture near the Dunavölgyi central canal. Under one of the bridges, several pairs of barn swallows (Hirundo rustica) were nesting. There was a 15-minute period at the end of the day when the sun lit under the bridge so that one part of the bridge pier was in shadow and the other part was in full light, with a rippling water light show in between. This composition required the swallow to fly into the right place in the correct plane of sharpness. I spent a few afternoons there before I got this particular moment.
