Ennek a képnek az elkészítése igen sok kihívást hordozott. Megtaláltam ez az égerfák ölelte formát a kiskőrösi Szücsi erdőben, és már mindenféle formációban készítettem róla képet. Aztán azt találtam ki, hogy éjszaka csillagokkal is készítek róla képet. Kiraktam a Gopro kamerámat, és time laps módra állítottam, és egész éjszaka készítette a 30 másodperces felvételeket. Amikor letöltöttem a képeket, észrevettem, hogy néhányon megjelent elmosódottan egy egér. Ez nagyon felvillanyozott, és elterveztem hogy le is fotózom. Mivel a Gopro kamera nem tud vakut kioldani, ezért cselhez kellett folyamodnom, Beállítottam a fák mellé egy Nikon fényképezőt, amit összekötöttem egy Camtraptions mozgásérzékelővel. A mozgásérzékelőt oda állítottam, ahova az egeret vártam, és a Nikon géphez természetesen egy vakut is szinkronba kötöttem. Így a két rendszer sikeresen megoldotta a tervemet. A Gopro csinálta a 30 másodperces expozíciókat, és amikor az egér megjelent, akkor a Nikon rendszer levezérelte hozzá a vakut, és beexponálta az egeret a képbe. Felmerül a kérdés, hogy miért nem egyből a Nikon rendszerrel csináltam a képet? Ennek több oka is van. De a legdöntőbb, hogy nem fért bele a lyukba, de ha bele is fért volna, ezt a hatalmas mélységélességi tartományt nem tudta volna produkálni.

This image was a very challenging one to create. I found this sky tree-hugging shape in the Szücsi forest in Kiskőrös, and I have taken pictures of it in various formations. Then I discovered that I could also picture it at night with stars. I unloaded my Gopro camera and set it to time-lapse mode, and it took 30-second shots all night. When I downloaded the pictures, I noticed a mouse appeared blurry in some of them. This excited me, and I planned to take a picture of it. Since the GoPro camera can't trigger the flash, I had to resort to a ruse, setting up a Nikon camera next to the trees, connected to a Camtraptions motion sensor. I positioned the motion sensor where I expected the mouse to be, and of course, I synced a flash to the Nikon camera. So the two systems successfully solved my design. The GoPro did the 30-second exposures, and when the mouse appeared, the Nikon system would trigger the flash to it and exposed the mouse in the frame. It begs the question, why didn't I use the Nikon system to take the picture? There are several reasons for this. But the main one is that it didn't fit in the hole, but even if it had, it wouldn't have been able to produce this vast depth of field.
