This photo was taken in Anilao, Philippines. We did "black water" dives at night, where we encountered very special, sometimes bizarre-looking creatures. These mostly immature, larval-stage creatures also form strange relationships with each other, taking advantage of the other species. This tiny fish had moved into a shelter made up of marsupials, which provided it with a safe night's shelter.
