Zamárdiban híre ment, hogy láttak egy récét, amelynek nyíllal át van lőve a feje. A szürreálisan hangzó történet elsőre pletykának tűnhet, de sajnos ahogy a kép is bizonyítja, igaz. Öröm az ürömben, hogy a madár sérülése ellenére is vidám és aktív, remélhetőleg a Madármentőknek sikerül teljesen meggyógyítaniuk. A fotó emlékeztet minket arra, mennyire törékeny az ember és a természet kapcsolata.

Word spread in the lakeside town of Zamárdi that a duck with an arrow through its head had been spotted. The story, which sounded surreal, could easily have been dismissed as a rumour, but sadly, as this photograph proves, it was true. The silver lining is that despite its horrific injury, the duck is lively and active, and we can only hope that the local Bird Rescuers will be able to fully cure it. This photograph is a stark reminder of the fragile relationship between humanity and nature.
