Két éve láttam meg először ezt a jelenetet, amikor szabadidőmben az ürgék viselkedésében gyönyörködtem. Abban a pillanatban fel is véstem a fotós célpontok listájára, mert tudtam, hogy fotográfiailag az addigi legérdekesebb dolgot láttam az ürgék világában. Szerencsére nem egyedi jelenetről volt szó, mert az ürgék nagyon szeretik megkóstolni a gyermekláncfű magjait és szárát, amikor a pitypang tömegesen ontja magvait a nyírott füvű területeken. Kéthetes hasalás eredménye lett ez a kép.

Grey herons are fighting for the possession of a catfish, while white-tailed eagles are watching tensely for the right moment to steal falling morsels. Normally grey herons are afraid of eagles, but there are situations when they sense that this time they are not the prey. Very rarely however, they became too brazen and the eagles catch some. I witnessed this scene three times so far, but I have not able to photograph it yet.
