Szeptember elején történt a gemenci erdőben. Már kezdett felszállni a reggeli pára a rétről, amikor megjelent három szarvastehén, és lassan legelészve haladtak az erdő felé. Csakhamar követte őket egy erős bika. Testét párafelhő lengte körül, talán a réttel szomszédos holtágban mártózott meg. Valahonnan bőgés hallatszott, amit az "én bikám" nem hagyott válasz nélkül. Öblös hangja egyértelműen jelezte, hogy itt ő az úr!
