A fotó az Alföldön, Kiskőrös közelében készült. A gémeskutat még nappal kutattam fel a pusztában, majd vártam a tiszta időre, és éjjel mentem vissza fotózni. A kép elkészítését nehezítette, hogy a fotó augusztusban készült, amikor a tejút pozíciója nagyon magas, ezért még ultra nagylátószögű objektívvel is csak két sorba fért mindaz, amit a végleges képre megálmodtam. Így a végeredmény 22 álló fotót tartalmaz: 11 a horizontra és 11 az égboltra exponálva. Augusztusban a kép készülte előtt egy hidegfront vonult végig az országon, amit gyönyörű tiszta idő és nyugodt légkör követett. Ennek is köszönhető a fotó részletessége. A gémeskút felett az Androméda-galaxis is jól megfigyelhető, megannyi csillagképpel egyetemben!

The photograph was taken on the Great Hungarian Plain, near Kiskőrös. I looked for the sweep-pole well during the day on the puszta, and waited for clear weather to go back and take pictures during the night. The creation of this image was made difficult in that it was taken in August, when the position of the Milky Way is very high, and even with an ultra-wide-angle lens everything I envisioned as the final image could only fit into two rows. The result contains 22 still photographs: 11 aimed at the horizon and 11 at the sky. Before the picture was taken in August, a cold front passed through the country, which was followed by beautiful clear weather and a calm atmosphere. The elaboration of the picture is also due to this circumstance. The Andromeda Galaxy is observable above the sweep-pole well along with many other constellations.
