2018. március 3-án 8-10 centiméter friss hó hullott. Mindig is szerettem volna mély hóban rétisasokat fotózni, ezért korán reggel kimentem az egyik jól bejáratott fotós helyemre. Rétisasban és egyéb ragadozó madarakban sem volt hiány, de legnagyobb meglepetésemre feltűnt két aranysakál is. A fotó körülbelül 16 méter távolságból készült, detektívüveges fix lesből, állványról.

Eight to ten centimeters of fresh snow fell on March 3, 2018. I always wanted to photograph a white-tailed eagle in deep snow so I ventured out early morning to one of my well traversed photo locations. There was no shortage of either white-tailed eagles or other predator birds but to my utter surprise two golden jackals also showed up. The photograph was taken on a stand from a distance of about 16 meters in a stationary hide equipped with detective-glass.
