A fotó rablólegyekről készült párzási időszakban, amikor a hím rákapaszkodik a nőstényre, majd együtt mozognak. A fatönk oldalán helyezkednek el; a téma és a környezet színösszhangja megadja a pillanat hangulatát, egységes színvilágot hozva létre. Fordított objektívvel készítettem a fotót. A belső vaku használatához házilag gyártottam egy vakudiffúzort, a rekesz manuális irányításához pedig egy fésű fogát használtam fel. Kézből fotóztam, a kép focus-stacking technikával készült, két expozícióból.

The photograph of flies was taken during their mating season when the male grabs onto the female and they move in unison. They settled on the side of a tree trunk; the subject matter and color composition of the environment present the atmosphere of the moment, bringing about a uniform color display. I took the photograph with a reverse lens. For the use of an internal flash I made a flash diffuser myself, for the manual operation of the aperture I used a tooth from a comb. I took the photograph manually with focus-stacking technology using two exposures.
