2017. szeptember 30-án a szarvasbőgés elcsendesedtével már „dámozni” indultam. Nagyjából húsz perccel napkelte előtt, a cserkelés megkezdésekor vettem észre, hogy a távolban húzódó erdőrészlet előtt lappangó ködtenger előterében három fiatal gímszarvas bika lépdel. Nagy igyekezettel állítgattam az expozíciós adatokat, félig sötétben, nehéz körülmények közepette. A bikák az expozíció pillanatában már szépen egymás mögé rendeződve haladtak át a sejtelmes szeptember végi tarlón...

The bellowing of stags having quieted down, I started out after September 30, 2017 in search of fallow deer. As I set out stalking, about twenty minutes before sunrise, I noticed in the distance in a sea of fog three young red stags walking in the foreground of a section of forest. I labored under difficult circumstances and with considerable effort in the semi darkness to adjust the exposure. By the moment of taking the shot the stags had lined up nicely behind one another and formed a procession across the mysterious end of September wasteland.
