Amikor megpillantottam a képen látható őzeket, még elég távol voltak tőlem. Kezdtem megközelíteni őket, de ezt látván, odébb álltak. Lassan kialakult köztünk egy kis „barátságos játék”: mindig ugyanakkora távolságot tettek meg, mint amennyit én feléjük közelítettem. Szép lassan követtem a kis csapatot, mindaddig, amíg a képen látható helyen meg nem álltak. Ezután megkerestem az általam vélt legjobb szöget, ahonnan az őzek egy tökéletes kompozíciót alkotnak a szélturbinákkal.

When I first sighted the deer seen on the photograph they were still quite a distance from me. I started to approach them but seeing this they stepped further away. Slowly, a little “friendly game” developed between us: they always moved the same distance that I got closer. I followed the little team all the way until they stopped at the place shown in the photograph. Afterwards, I looked for what I considered the best angle where the deer formed a perfect composition with the wind turbines.
