Jóbarátok - Pals

Gyakorta találkozni esős, párás időben vagy nedves, kora hajnali órákban foltos szalamandrákkal a Szalajka-völgyben. A képen látható példány éppen kidugja fejét a nyirkos avar alól, amikor egy apró molylepke száll a fejére. A fotósnak sikerült megörökítenie azt a csupán pár másodpercig tartó pillanatot, amikor a kis rovar éppen a szalamandra szeme mögötti sárga folton egyensúlyozott.

Fire salamanders are a frequent sight in the Szalajka Valley during rainy, humid weather or damp, early-morning hours. In this image, as one emerges from beneath the wet leaf litter, a tiny moth lands on its head. The photographer managed to capture the fleeting moment—lasting mere seconds—when the small insect balanced directly atop the yellow patch behind the salamander’s eye.
