Gombostű

Gombostű - Sewing pin

Néhány milliméteres, varázslatos megjelenésű nyálkagombák nőnek egy tuskón, januárban. Nemcsak a fő őszi gombaszezonban találkozhatunk gombákkal, hanem néhányuk például a korhadó faanyagon és a levelek között télen is előfordul. A parányi nyálkagombák fotózásához a legerősebb nagyításra van szükségünk: hármas közgyűrűsor, makróobjektív, nagyítólencse és vakuk. Ezzel a technikával 6 mm-es képszélességben pásztázom a mikrotájat. Mintha lufikat eregetnénk a sötétben. Gömb alakú spóratartóik kezdetben még világosak, majd érést követően sötétté válnak és megkezdik a szinte láthatatlan méretű spóráik eregetését.

A few millimeters high magical-looking slime molds grow on a stump in January. Not only do you see mushrooms during the primary autumn mushroom season, but some of them can also be found, for example, on decaying wood and leaves in winter. To photograph the tiny slime mushrooms, you need the highest magnification: a triple extension ring, a macro lens, a magnifying glass, and flashes. I use this technique to scan the microworld at 6 mm wide. It's like blowing up balloons in the dark. Their spherical spore-bearers are bright at first, then darken as they mature and begin to spout spores of almost invisible size.
