Maldív szigetek partjainál készült a felvétel 2021 telén. Egy érdekes láncreakció eredményeként találkozhattunk ezzel a különös víz alatti lénnyel. Búvárhajónk fényei planktonfelhőt képeztek közvetlenül a hajótest alatt, ami a rengeteg víz alatti haszonleső mellett egy cepcápát is hozzánk csábított. A fotózást számos tényező nehezítette. A kevés fény, illetve a láthatóságot korlátozó planktonfelhő mellett a cetcápa szívó ereje is folyamatosan eszünkbe juttatta Jónás tanulságok történetét.

I took this photo of the Maldives in the winter of 2021. An exciting chain reaction led to an encounter with this strange underwater creature. Our dive boat's lights formed a plankton cloud just below the boat's hull, which attracted a whale shark (Rhincodon typus) along with the many underwater predators. Several factors made photography difficult. In addition to the low light and the plankton cloud limiting visibility, the suction power of the whale shark kept reminding us of the story of Jonah's lessons.
