An excellent Capricorn beetle (Cerambyx cerdo) flies from the branch of an old oak tree. I really like photographing these beetles on the old oak trees of a nearby wood pasture, especially with a wide angle of view, because I can show their surroundings. Last year, I had the pleasure of taking a more moving picture when one of the animals got fed up with me following it and took flight just as I was exposing it.
