A képet Namíbiában, a Skeleton partszakaszon, azaz a „Csontvázparton” készítettem. Napkeltére mentünk ki a dűnékhez fotózni, aztán rá kellet jönnünk, hogy ez ott nem is olyan egyszerű, mert az óceán felől beáramló reggeli pára miatt a nap csak később bújik elő. Ám akkor, amikor kibújt a nap, a levegő még nem volt mindenhol teljesen tiszta, néhol a dűnék között nem oszlott fel a pára, érdekes fény–árnyék-viszonyok keletkeztek. Ez lett az egyik kedvencem az ott készült képek közül.

I took the photograph in Namibia along Skeleton shore. We went out to the dunes to photograph at sunrise only to realize that it is not so easy there because the morning mist rolling in over the ocean only allows the sun to peek through later. By the time the sun came out the air was no longer clear everywhere, the mist did not dissipate some places in the dunes causing interesting light-shadow relationships. This turned out to be one of my favorite photographs taken there.
