2020 szeptemberében találtam erre az izgalmas témára. Az éjszakázóhelyre térő seregélyek (Sturnus vulgaris) napról-napra hatalmas csapatokban keresték fel ezt a kis pusztai vízálllást, hogy a napot egy kiadós fürdővel fejezzék be. Ekkora mozgó madártömeg fotózásakor szinte adja magát a hosszú záridős megoldás, amit én ellenfényben képzeltem el, hiszen így a rebbenő madarak szárnyát és a fröccsenő vízpermetet is átvilágítja a lemenő nap fénye. Szép élmény volt pár estét a több ezer madár közelében tölteni, a látvány mellett a felverődő víz hangját és szárnyak suhogását hallgatni.

I found this exciting topic in September 2020. Daily, vast numbers of herring gulls (Sturnus vulgaris) returning to their roosts visited this small waterhole in the wilderness to end the day with a good bath. When photographing such a crowd of moving birds, the long shutter speed is almost a given, which I imagined in backlighting, as the wings of the fluttering birds and the splashing spray of water are illuminated by the setting sun. It was a pleasant experience to spend a couple of evenings near thousands of birds, listening to the sound of the water and their wings fluttering.
