Az idén télen én is eljutottam Lofotenre, a saját szervezésemben. Tudom, sok fotós jár ide, de úgy gondolom ez a pillanat megismételhetetlen. A táj csodás, a sok apró sziget, a változó időjárás, a sarki fény, lenyűgözött. Mindegy, hogy milyen idő volt, esett, hóvihar volt, vagy jó hideg – mi reggeltől estig kint voltunk. Aznap igen felhős, borús idő volt, nem sok jóval kecsegtetett a természet. Nagyon tetszett, ahogy a szemközti hegyen megült a felhő. A hegy mintázata szinte olyan volt, mint előttem a homok, amit a dagály formázott. Gondoltam, milyen jól lehetne ezt a két formát kombinálni! Különböző beállításokkal és kompozícióval próbálkoztam. A komor hangulatot szerettem volna visszaadni. Remélem sikerült!

I too got to Lofoten [Norway] this winter under my own organization. I know many photographers go there but I think that this moment is not to be repeated. The landscape is amazing, the many small islands, the changing weather patterns, the northern lights, all were spellbinding. It did not matter whether it rained or there was a blizzard, or very cold, we were outdoors from morning ‘til night. This particular day was rather cloudy, nature was not particularly promising much good. I liked very much how the cloud sat on top of the mountain opposite. The pattern of the mountain was almost like the sand in front of me formed by high tide. I thought how great it would be to combine these two patterns. I tried various settings and compositions. I wanted to capture the somber mood. I hope I succeeded!
