Már régóta szerettem volna egy olyan képet készíteni, ahol a vízfolyás kacskaringós íve vezet el az óceán végtelenjébe. Amikor az izlandi túrát terveztem, a térképet alaposan végigböngészve bukkantam rá erre a helyszínre, ami egy dagály idején elöntött terület, ami apály idején mutatja meg a számomra kívánatos arcát.
Mivel mindenképpen a naplemente-napfelkelte (júniusban ez egybefolyik ennyire északon) fényében szerettem volna megfotózni, azt a napot kellett elcsípnem, amikor a Hold egyidőben nyugszik le a Nappal. Így a megfelelő napon, egy hágón átbukkanva megpillantottam ezt a varázslatos helyszínt. Mivel az időjárás is kegyes volt hozzám, a legszebb álmaimban sem remélt viszonyok között sikerült lefényképeznem az elképzelt kompozíciót.

For a long time, I wanted to take a picture of where the winding curve of a watercourse leads to the endless ocean. When planning the Iceland tour, I looked at the map and came across this site, a flooded area at high tide, which shows its most desirable face at low tide.
As I was keen to photograph the sunset sunrise (it coincides so far north in June), I had to catch the day when the moon sets simultaneously with the sun. So, on the right day, I spotted this magical spot, popping over a pass. As the weather was kind to me, I could photograph the composition in conditions I had never dreamed of.
